Programme overview

Bringing community voices into decisions about land.

The PACED programme supported community participation in land-related decision-making in Moroto District. Its work in Rupa and Lotisan sub-counties involved community land institutions and RUCODET, creating spaces for local discussion, shared learning and engagement around community interests.

The programme combined community dialogue, institutional engagement, practical information materials and field-based discussion. This helped participants connect local knowledge and customary institutions with wider decision-making processes affecting land and pastoral livelihoods.
