Collection overview
From shared roots to a regional institution.
Taken together, these documents trace a policy pathway: documenting the historical relationships and colonial separation of Ateker communities; identifying investment opportunities across pastoral and borderland economies; proposing an integrated approach to amnesty, dialogue and livelihood-linked disarmament; and recording the December 2025 establishment of the Ateker Leaders Council in Lodwar.
The collection distinguishes institutional reports from advocacy and personal reflection. Proposed outcomes in the policy roadmap are not presented as achieved results, and claims in reflective publications remain attributable to their authors.
